This is a FÁS funded Local Training Initiative. This course is sponsored by Clare Local Development Company.
Programme Aim
The aim of the programme is to enable the Learner through experiential learning to integrate the theoretical and practical aspects of personal, social and pre-applied skills development. To achieve this learning outcome the programme blends knowledge, skill, know-how and competence development in a practical learning environment.
Learners will be introduced to a wide range of skills related to the tourist industry and encouraged to identify areas of the industry that they would like to participate in. This will be facilitated by assisting learners to identify their individual learning needs and all will be encouraged to reach their full potential.
About the course
- This course will start on the 19th September 2011.
- It will take place in the Ennistymon, Co. Clare
- Classes will run each morning from 9.15am to 1.15pm from Monday to Friday.
- The course will run for 36 weeks.
- Learners will be afforded an opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification with FETAC.
