FETAC Level 3 Programme in Employability Skills

Ennis Access Programme  (  

 

 

The Ennis Access Programme is a FÁS funded Local Training Initiative that has been in existence since 2000 and is sponspred by Clare Local Development Company. The aims and objectives of the programme are to provide flexible training opportunities to raise competency levels of unemployed people, not other wise being catered for through FÁS interventions, facilitating their progression to or toward the labour market. All learners are supported in identifying their individual learning needs. Learners are encouraged to develop to their maximum potential at their own pace in a supported learning environment of equality and inclusion.

This programme leads to a FETAC Level 3 Major Award In Employability Skills for learners who meet the award requirements

About the course

  1. This course operates on a continuous in-take basis.
  2. It will take place in the Ennis Access Training Centre, Clonroad Business Park, Ennis, Co. Clare 065 6848466.
  3. Classes will run each morning from 9.15am to 1.15pm from Monday to Friday.
  4. The course will run for 12 months.
  5. Learners will be offered to gain a nationally recognised qualification with FETAC. Learners will participate in subjects such as;
  • Communications
  • Computer Literacy
  • Application of Number
  • Career Preparation
  • Work Experience
  • Personal Effectiveness
  • Word Processing
  • Spreadsheets.
  • A range of non certified modules will also be offered to include: Personal & Group Development, Art, Health & Safety and Life Coaching.


Note: All modules offered are subject to the availability of resouces and tutors.
